This is a nice little painting inspired by the coming fall and dreams of cooler weather and brighter trees.  The yellows really liven up a room and add color that will get your attention. Some of it is layered and some of it is done "en plein air" (wet paint on wet paint).  The canvas is 2 inches deep, so no need to frame!  I hope you enjoy it.

Added some color, so I'm going to change the name to "Fall Steelhead" ha ha!

Made a lot of "friends" via Facebook that do a lot of steelhead fishing, so I started this new painting inspired by their exploits.

Pheasant Tail

Did this one with Bob White's painting "The Last Ptarmigan" in mind.  Not nearly as good as his, but I haven't been painting as long.  I hope to paint more fly fishing oriented stuff and evetually become good enough to paint scenes like Bob White and Diane Michelin.
