A River Valley
Painted this one using UMB, Cad Yellow, Cad Red, Payne's Gray and White (of course). Had fun and I think it looks decent. I need to work more on close subjects though.

"Time to Bale" 8X10 Oil on Canvas
We've had the first cutting of hay here in my area of Tennessee and it inspired this little painting:

Creek
I painted this one with the colors of Christina Baker in mind. I have one of her paintings and have always admired the amount of color she could work into a painting. I have been given a lot of advice on this one and it turned out ok. I would like to thank Bob White, Diane Michelin and Brian Schiele for their kind support...all good eggs in my book.
Added a camp fire:

"Winter Sycamore in Percy Warner Park"
I gave this one a long title because it is important to me that people know about Percy Warner Park. I feel it is one of the nations great city parks and is very much overlooked by the nation. It is around 1000 acres in total with streams, trails, many types of trees, flowers and plants. It also contains many types of birds including owls, a variety of ducks including mallards, deer and I suspect many other animals. It's a wonderful park on the edge of Nashville. If you ever want to experience a little country music, a great city as well as a wonderful park, visit Nashville for a few days.
